This photo keeps changing before my eyes: One minute I think it is one of my better self portraits, and the next it seems incredibly ugly to me. Lots of technicalities are wrong with it, but I feel something is making up for it(every other minute, that is) Such a harsh and contrasted black and white shows a lot of the minor errors and imperfections in our skin, and I actually decided to oversharpen a bit, to enhance it. It's not that photos are unreal or dishonest normally, but this is a different kind of real and honest.

  4. I get your train of thought, I reckon it may feel 'too honest', it shows what one would see if they took a good, proper look at your face and inspected your it closely for a longer rather than shorter amount of time. It's not the things one would notice in a glance, but it still is the truth anyway, but not a truth that generally shows, even in real life. I think that's what's up with this photo. It's an honest portrait and a nice example of how one's imperfections add character and life to a face. It's an honest portrait, more honest than average real life, yes, but it's the good kind of honest. It shows all that's out there and it's painfully beautiful :)

  5. I adore this. It is very honest, unique, and just different altogether. Reminds me a little of a Jo Schwab's models expression (or that resembles one). I'm loving the two other new photos as well. Keep up the dynamic art ;)

  8. Few people on the planet are lucky enough to be so beautiful...
Don't think this is even remotely average..
You look like you have things on your mind...
    a bit weary..
But your face, is so perfectly sculpted ...your house could be on fire and you would still look like a channel model :)
