New video: How NOT to dye your eyebrows!

Follow me on my first adventure into the dyeing-your-eyebrows-world!
You can laugh - I sure did!

Sorry about the weird background noise - I definitely need to find a solution for that!

Getting ready - and talking way too much ;)

This video was actually requested a while back, after I posted a photo on Instagram(@galaprilcom). I filmed it back in May and completely forgot about it! I'm the worst blogger ever, haha. It's not really a tutorial, just me getting ready to go out and talking a bit about this and that!

Do you know Temptalia?

Temptalia is my all-time favorite beauty-site. And I'm not even getting paid to say that ;) I always search this one out for information on products, and enjoy just browsing through it, when I get the (very often) updates.

They recently launched "My Temptalia" which is a beauty community linked to the site - A bit like Makeupalley, but better, too me atleast! You get your own profile and can post looks - Which I did! If you are interested you can check out my profile here, where I've posted a few looks :)

Blue Moon

This look was created around the Velvet Touch Pencil by Danish brand GOSH, called Blue Moon. I think this is the perfect summery blue, and can be worn heavier or lighter depending on where you are going! Mix it up with nice skin(Rimmel Stay Matte Mousse+ELF Foundation), a bit of bronzer/contour(ELF) and lots of mascara(Maybelline The Colossal). As always, eyebrows fixed with MUA eyebrowpencil! On lips is GOSH Light’n'Shine in color #102, which is kind of natural on my lips

New video!

I filmed while I was getting ready to leave the house today, and hoped you'd want to watch it! Take care! :)

on being bare faced

These photos are shot just now, just out of the shower, wearing nothing but moisturiser on my skin and fighting the flu!

Someone commented that I should post a photo with no makeup. I felt like this (anonymous) person was indicating that I wasn't very comfortable with being completely bare-skinned - Which would be understandable, since most people I know don't feel their most comfortable this way. I don't always either. I like spending time "polishing" and make an effort. I think it shows that you have the energy, time, skills and want to make some of yourself and present yourself in the best possible manner. Of course not wearing makeup is also very nice - Especially now that I'm down with the flu.. I like wearing makeup. I like not wearing makeup. I like looking pretty - In the winter, with dry, red, spotted, uneven skin, purple circles and dull skin, makeup does make me feel better some days. Me, but enhanced. I'm sure I'm not the only one. And really? I'm kind of tired of the "you are wearing makeup, because you don't have the self-confidence to be naaatuuuuraaaal". It's silly.

And BTW? Notice the maaaagiiiic of cameras ;) Photos would never be able to represent how I really look and how anyone would see me, if they saw me in person :)

Nailpolish by Topshop

I have a slight addiction to buying nailpolish. Which is alright, because it could be an addiction to buy horses, and they are WAY more expensive. It would never turn out good! I almost always wear nailpolish, and when in London recently, I picked up of a few I've been eyeing at Topshop. The rightmost one is called Milkshake, and this is my second bottle. It's an almost neutral, slightly warm creme. Unfortunately it goes a bit gloopy after some time, but it is surely the prettiest most perfect pink. Eclipse is a pretty green-blue-y-gold-y duochrome that I've been wanting to get. I thought I was gonna get Hidden Treasure but it had so much gold in. There needs to be limits ;) It's streaky, but it doesn't bother me that much with this color. The consistency is rather runny, but it is fairly easily applied and opaque in two coats. Seamist is a pretty blueish silvershimmer. I didn't try it out yet, but I'm a bit afraid to discover a lot of streaking. Rumours and Lies is described as "berry" which it is in the bottle. On the nails it turns too a dark oxblood, almost reddened black, but very cold-leaning. It applies beautiful and is so very chic.
