  2. Anna, I have the same camera as you - yet I never seem to be able to achieve the amount of light you have in your photos. Is this an editing software or a setting on the actual camera.

*You are one of the most interesting individuals I have ever come across. You should feel so proud of the beauty and thoughtfulness that you put out into the world. I have been following your blog since early 2010. You have come so far, Anna. I don't usually comment too often but I always love seeing your new posts. Its inspired my life. I know that you are a very uniquely beautiful girl, but its more than just that - your mind is the sexiest part of you. Never forget that. Thank you for the effort you make.

    1. Hi, thank you for writing. I'd say it is primarily about the lens. The camera doesn't do much of a job without the lens suited for your purpose. I use a 50mm f1.8, and would love to go f1.4. This is what makes all the difference. I never use my standard 18-55 anymore, because it is just not made for what I want. You can't be a long-distance-runner in heeled boots either(Maybe you could. That would be awesome. But so not the point). Also having tons and tons of natural day light would help your cause. When I edit, I'm a lazy ass that press "auto" and then micromanage the details afterwards. A lot of exposure goes on!

And thank you so much for this sweet message, that made my day! I don't even know what to write back, just thank you a trillion times, and I'm glad you are reading! :)
