VIDEO: Dreadlocks 2008-2014 + Before

I've tried to dig out some photos for you from before I got my dreadlocks and how they changed from 2008 through 2014. The dates are probably not totally correct, but I did my best.

I wanted to do a voiceover, but that wasn't possible for me today. I hope this suffices!

A lot of you ask about why they are so thick all of a sudden. If you take a look at 2011, you can see how short they became, because they shrunk sooo much. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section below!

Thank you for watching

  1. Your dreadlocks are absolutely beautiful and I wish you even more happy years with them! I'm considering making few on my own, right above my neck on the bottom line of my hair, maybe just four of them and I can't wait to tie my hair in ponytail like that! Wish you a beautiful day! :))

  2. Did you do anything different in 2011 that you think might have caused them to start looping and bulking up?

  8. nice time lapse video :) you seem to have had a major transformation between the age of 15 and 16 years of your life :). If you don't mind me asking, what made you decide to give birth to your dreadlocks?

  9. Hi! Love your locks. Questions. How did your ends get so loose now? And do you continue to lock your hair at the roots?

    1. I brushed them out two years ago. They lock themselves, I don't do anything :)

  10. Did you do any maintenance? Palm rolling, crocheting, etc...How did you handle loose hairs and did your roots start trying to lock together at any point? During the first year did you experience a lot of looping? If so what did you do? I'm under the impression you have not done any kind of maintenance and just let your hair do its thing...But, i have 2 month old dreads and i am going through a very awkward phase with them so i just want to make sure there's not something i should be doing to prevent me from having weird looking locks down the road. I really want my hair to look like yours. Loose, wild and thick. They are currently Frizzy, loopy, and thin.... =(
