April 1st

Now we should finally be getting to spring, I hope! We've had the coldest March in 26 years in Denmark, and it was freeeeezing. There is still snow on the ground, but I'm really hoping it's done snowing for at least 6 months now! I've spent easter with family and had a really good time! I hope you enjoyed your easter too! Tomorrow I'm going to Copenhagen, our capital, with my university on a trip, and it's gonna be fun! I should really get packing!
Hope you are all good and have a great day!

  1. Hej Anna!

    Mvh Maja.

    1. Hej Maja.

  8. Are your dreadlocks fake or somethin? Cuz I 've seen a video of yours saying that you have typical Scandinavian hairtype, I've also seen some pictures that your dreadlocks were very thin. And now they look completely different. Did you put synthetics??

    1. Haha no of course they are not. There are actually a pretty funny explanation to that. A typical person without dreadlocks lose about 100 hairs each day. A blonde person has about 140000 hairs. When I made my locks over four years ago, they were therefore the thickness of my normal hair. But since it was dreads you don't lose that hair anymore. You see? All the hair a person without locks would have lost over that period of time I didn't lose because of the locks. So that's why they get very thick at the bottom while still rather thin at the top :) makes sense?

    3. Ofc it does!! I didn't mean that they're all fake I just thought you also had synthetics :) I also didn't know that you have them four years! o.O wow! so the best way to have a result like yours is time and patience I guess

    4. They became shorter for the same reason or just because you use a maintenance you don't want to share with others??

  9. I love your pictures as usual. You make amazing self-portraits. I checked you out on deviant. Keep the pictures coming. You obviously have a bright future no matter what you decide to do. I also love your attitude. Are you a big reader?

  10. I remember when we had the biggest blizzard in NYC since the 1980s two years ago (snowed something like 120-150 cm.. it was insane!!). Hope you're staying warm and cozy :) P.s. I'm blonde too!! (blonde fun fact? we actually have more individual hairs, even though most of us have thinner strands... so what you said about losing that much more hair than other color hairs makes sense hahaha).

  13. Hello Anna. I hope you can take the time to answer my question. I have commented many times and tried to ask you. I understand if youre tired of the same questions on and on, but since Im a dreadhead myself Im really curious: how did your hair get used to not getting washed? I think you mentioned somewhere that you didnt wash it when you had normal hair either? Do you never wash it?
I want to do that thing myself, but after 4 days my hair is starting to get greasy at the top...

Keep up the good work with your blog. Miles of smiles <3

    2. That's a rather weird reply for one - Why should I be lying? I rarely wash it, I guess last time was in January and it is doing absolutely fine.

Now! I'm sorry I haven't got clearly back to you. Really, I just stopped washing it! I wash it rarely, very rarely. I know that at first it will be nasty and greasy and weird, and I know that it sucks to get over that part, but I promise you, you will(Unless you work at a burgerbar or something like that). Start out with avoiding it as long as you can take - Maybe that is five days, maybe it's three, and that's ok. Wash it, don't use conditioner. See if you can stretch it a couple of days, stretch it half a week, and so on. Build the tolerance slowly, just for your own sake. I hope this helps you! It will get greasy at first(And you are lucky with as long as four days!), then wash it, and try not to wash it for just a little longer :) Good luck!
