Summersnaps and a heartfelt pledge

A bunch of summer snaps for you. At the moment, I'm really considering how I want the blog to be in the future. For a long time, I haven't felt very motivated to write, but I really want to keep my blog, and keep sharing stuff with my wonderful readers! I'm thinking I need more real content. I've been posting random photos for a long time, but I want to move and change the direction. I still really don't know how. What stuff would you like to see more of? I think I need to make a schedule or something, for myself, to keep myself going. I don't want blogging to become a chore, but I really need to pick up the pace and do right.

Lots of stuff have been happening in the past few months. My life is great, and I feel like it is becoming better. University and moving to this city is kind of the best thing that ever happened - it feels so right. Maybe that is why it is easier to "forget" blogging - Because so much else is happening. I guess the solution is, to include the blog more in my everyday life - And share more.

Once, loooong ago, I asked you to suggest some post-titles or subject for the blog. I didn't use many of them, because I was a really bad blogger, and I wanted to apologize to all of you, who made really great suggestions. Since it is so long ago, I wanted to ask you again, and hope that you'll help this blog rises from the ashes.

I've been inspired a lot by Kelly from Imperfect Homemaking. She seems to be such a sweet and caring soul, and she is REALLY organized, while having a busy life. She did a few list/printables for planning blogging, thus making it "a job" and a stable in her everyday - I hope I'll manage to do the same.

Dear readers, I'm so thankful, for you who are still out there, and want to read along. I hope that together we can make this work, and that I can deliver content that you will value. I really hope to hear your suggestions regarding the blog.

Last, but not least, I've needed a clean slate in regards to comments, emails and messages and so on. I've deleted a lot. I'm sorry if this offends any of you, but I really want to do right. Please feel free to write me, I'll do my best.

Thank you very much. And have a great summer!

    1. I'd love to do that! I would really like to do them outdoors, but I'm so shy, I have a really hard time convincing myself to do it ;) Maybe I'll start out with indoors ;) Thank you!

    1. Uh, that's a hard one! But sure, I think if I could figure out how to blog more, it would become a natural part of it - Commenting on it, you know? Thank you very much! Have a nice day!

  4. I would like to see more of your everyday life...a flower you saw, a restaurant you ate at, a book you read.. Basically just random snapshots of your day. Take a camera with you when you go out and just let the beauty of the world inspire you. And of course pictures of your beautiful self :) happy summer!

  5. The pictures are so pretty! You're looking tan. Are you ever bothered by the hole where your medusa piercing was? I have one in my lip that I thought would completely heal but never did.
As for me, I'd love to see more dreadlock posts. Yours are so unique and everyone loves to see them. You are the envy of the dreadheads everywhere. I'd kill for a timeline of them. :) And kitties. More kitties! :p

    1. Thank you! I've spend a lot of time getting there, so thank you ;) And a bit of cheating, too!

I am very much bothered by it. Actually that was why I didn't remove them for a long time, when i really wanted to! I really don't like it. How long have you waited for it to heal? I've considered "reopening" it, to make it heal nicer, but I'm a bit scared by it!

Ok! I'll remember that. Personally I just feel like it becomes boring, actually :p Like, who really want to look at my HAIR?! :p That's silly, I know. I think it's reaching time for a new dreadlock-update-video :)

Kitties will stay here for another 7 weeks(I think I'm keeping Edith), and then it will be over! I'll be sure to post more kittttiiiiesss <3 Thank you very much.

    2. I took my piercing out a couple of years ago, but the hole is under my bottom lip so it's not very noticeable. Don't worry too much about it. You're gorgeous either way! I'm sure a plastic surgeon could fix it, but that's more money than it's worth.

Generally hair isn't very exciting, but dreadlocks have such a long "ugly phase" for most of us, that it's really inspiring to see great dreads. :)

  6. Why did you remove your piercings after all?
And how long did you have them?

    1. I just think it was time :) I didn't want them no more and I didn't feel attached to them at all(oh the irony).
I've had my labret since age 15 and 16(I didn't get them at the same time), and the medusa since I was 15. I do however, still miss the medusa from time to time..

  8. The best blogs are ones that are real! Making a blog like a journal is really fun. So posts about your every day life would be very interesting. Also, as people are suggesting, outfits are great blog posts. You have such a unique style! You could even join the "What I Wore Wednesday" train: http://thepleatedpoppy.com/category/what-i-wore/

Good luck! I love your blog!

:) Tak

  11. Hi !
I've been visiting your blog for approximatively a year now and i feel i'll never get bored. I really like your outfits posts, as well as those which describe your everyday life, you home, your school... Your blog is very inspiring, it even made me consider visiting Denmark, because your (few) photos of some places and cities there are very nice.
Thank you for sharing with us !
    Blessings from France :)

  12. I just realized you deleted all your posts before 2011...That is a real shame Anna. You had so many beautiful posts...I'm all for you changing the blog up...you really only make great posts every few months..
I like seeing pictures you take of yourself, but I'm more interested by who you are and what you think. You rely too heavily on your beautiful looks...rather than blogging about things of much substance. I don't mean to offend you.
I think your videos are more effective in translating who you actually are...not just this pretty danish girl who posts pictures of herself. I would be much more interested in video blogs of you..talking about what you get up to.....A great example is this Beauty vlogger...http://www.youtube.com/user/TheThirdShift
She is Canadian/Swiss...and she has two channels..one about make up ..the other about her life. I think you should take a look and get some ideas..

      Have a nice day

  13. Hei! Hilsen norsk fan!

  14. So, I'm sure you're sick of posting/talking about it but you are a huge inspiration for my dreads. Actually, I'm in my 5th month with them and they are looking crazy! I'm frustrated with them and continually look at your pictures for inspiration!
